The Museum understands that while everyone needs to know about nature, not everyone can make it to the Museum.
That's not a problem for the Museum's outreach team and partners.
Through a wide range of specially designed programs, projects, and events, the Outreach Team brings the Museum to school children and adults statewide.
Remarkably, our four Outreach Teachers directly instruct nearly 10% of the entire Mississippi Department of Education student population each year with dynamic interactive classroom programs conducted throughout the state.
