Nestled in the shade of towering hardwood trees, Lake Lincoln State Park is the quintessence of serenity. Located in the northeast corner of Lincoln County, the park's close proximity to Interstate 55, U.S. Highway 51 and State Highway 27 provides easy access for visitors.

Things To Do

A variety of recreational activities and facilities are available at Lake Lincoln State Park. Facilities for use include: a swimming beach, picnic area/shelter, nature trail, playground, volley ball court, disc golf, and a non-denominational Sunday worship services during the summer months.

Magnolia Cove is an 18-Hole Disc Golf Course. The course is open to the public, free of charge, however, the normal entrance fee is required.  The Magnolia Cove Disc Golf Course is a part of the Southern National Disc Golf.

Nature Trail

A leisurely hike through the natural setting of loblolly, short-leaf pine, southern magnolias and dogwoods puts you back in touch with the wonders of nature. Special care has been taken to preserve the dense cover of undisturbed vegetation which not only enhances the beauty of the entire recreation area, but also aides in preventing soil erosion. The series of ridges throughout the terrain are utilized as natural buffers to separate facilities with the park.

Picnic Sites/Pavilions

Two open-air pavilions are the focal point of the Lake Lincoln picnic area. The shade of towering hardwood trees and a central comfort station with area lighting are assets to make your picnic experience a great one! The large pavilions are ideal picnic sites for family reunions and other group functions. An additional 45 picnic tables with grills complete the area. 

Playground

A playground is located near the beach.

One beach volleyball court is available for use.

Worship Services

Non-denominational Sunday worship services are held at the Magnolia Brush Arbor during the summer season.

Water Activities
Fishing

Lake Lincoln, a 550-acre water wonderland, offers visitors fishing, boating, swimming, and skiing. Fishing is a year-round activity at Lake Lincoln offering both the casual and serious angler lots of challenge. Three fishing piers extend into the lake with plenty of room for anglers to try their luck. Bass, bream, channel catfish, and white perch are abundant.

Boat Launch

A public boat ramp with a floating dock makes launching easy for all types of pleasure watercraft.

Swimming: beach

Swimmers have a designated area in the clear, clean water of Lake Lincoln. From the 1.5-acre sand beach where sunbathers can "catch some rays" swimmers can gradually descend into the lake and enjoy swimming in an area free of fishermen and boaters. The swimming area is open all day until 6pm.

Water Skiing

Jet or water skiing is allowed on Lake Lincoln. Skiing is allowed year-round. A public boat ramp with a floating dock makes launching easy for all types of pleasure watercraft.

Stay The Night

There are several options when it comes to staying overnight.  Lake Lincoln offers 71 RV campsites, 1 cabin, and three cottages. You can make a reservation by calling the park at 601-643-9044 or 1-800-GO PARKS

Developed Camping

There are 71 developed sites available for RV camping featuring concrete pads, concrete picnic tables, grills, electrical hook-ups, and a sewage dumping station.

Twenty-two campsites are located lake-side. There are two bathhouses with hot showers, central air and heat, and a laundry facility is available for your convenience.

All campsites are available for advance reservations.  Monthly camping may be available.  Please check with the park office for availability.

Vacation Cabins

Lake Lincoln presently has one cabin which features central heat and air conditioning, a screened porch, two queen size beds, kitchen and living area. The cabin is furnished with basic kitchen equipment.

Vacation Cottages

Lake Lincoln also features three cottages. Each cottage has central heat and air conditioning, are equipped with Dish TV, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee pot. Bed and bath linens are NOT provided.

Cottage 1 and 2 are two bedrooms, one bath and will sleep 4 people.

Cottage 3 is ADA accessible, has three bedrooms, one bath and sleeps 6 people.

Each cottage features a porch with patio furniture, barbecue grill, picnic table, and provides an excellent view of Lake Lincoln. Reservations are highly recommended.
