The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) would like to inform the public that during the January 23, 2025 meeting of the Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, it was voted, for this year only, the 2024–2025 either-sex white-tailed deer season was extended through thirty (30) minutes after sunset on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
