Species | Detail |
---|---|
Largemouth Bass | Bass fishing has been fair, but should pick up as the fish move up to spawn. Jerk baits, jigs, and T-rigged soft plastics are all good choices. |
Crappie | The crappie bite has picked up a little, and should improve as the water temps continue to warm and the fish move to the shallows for the spawn. Jigs or jig/minnow combinations will be the best bait choicess. |
Bream | Bream fishing is fair. Tight lining red worms, night crawlers, and mealworms works well, as do crickets. |
Catfish | Target the creek channel and around the deeper points with night crawlers, cut shad, and/or liver. Tight lining is the most popular technique for catfish. |
