The John W. Starr WMA requires an additional permit sold by Mississippi State University. All hunters must obtain this hunting permit from the MSU College of Forest Resources/Forest & Wildlife Research Center by purchasing online at http://www.cfr.msstate.edu/workshops/permit/. The MSU Hunting and Trapping Permit Application may also be used to obtain a permit and may be mailed with payment to the address on the application.
